Summit Church exists to love God and love others.

Pastor Lizzy has been in full time ministry since she was 18 years old. She served with her husband, Tyler, in South Africa and Botswana as a missionary for a total of over 10 years. Lizzy and Tyler began pastoring in Kimberley in 2014 when Tyler took the lead pastor position at what is now Summit Church. In 2022, Pastor Lizzy transitioned into the lead pastor role ushering in a new and exciting season of growth and health for Summit Church.

Pastor Lizzy loves Jesus, loves the church and loves to serve. She has a vision for Kimberley and what God is doing here. She has a loving husband who not only supports, but champions her. She has four wonderful children whom she adores.

Pastor Tyler has been in ministry for more than 20 years. He has served in missions work all around the world. He has a passion for the church and for theology. Pastor Tyler is involved in Christian education leadership and has worked in higher education for the last decade. Currenty, he serves Summit as the Executive Pastor, overseeing all the administration and worship ministry of the church. He is also the chaplain at Kootenay Christian Academy and is pursuing a second Master’s degree in counselling.
